Occupational Training & Eligible Training Providers

What is an Eligible Training Provider (ETP)
Background

Under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), this directory provides job seekers, employers, and community partners with a verified selection of approved training programs across our islands.

Whether you are looking to upskill for a promotion, transition into a new career path in healthcare, construction, IT, or commercial driving, or utilize WIOA training grants, our interactive directory allows you to easily search programs by keyword, island, provider, or delivery format. Explore our active directory above to find the right training program and kickstart your next career move.

Funding Your Training Through WIOA

Financial assistance may be available for qualified individuals through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). If you are unemployed, underemployed, or looking to upskill, you could qualify to have your tuition, fees, and required books covered. To get started, connect with a career advisor at your local American Job Center to review your eligibility and map out your training plan.

Information for Training Providers

Are you an educational institution or training provider looking to serve local job seekers? Organizations interested in adding new programs or maintaining current listings on the Hawaiʻi Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) must meet state performance standards and WIOA compliance requirements. Reach out to our board administration team to review application windows, performance metrics, and renewal guidelines.
